Georgia Reopening Update

Business Minimum Requirements

Some important changes have taken place to the Shelter In Place order. Effective Friday, April 24, 2020, the following businesses are permitted to reopen: gyms and fitness centers, bowling alleys, body art studios, barbers, cosmetologists, hair designers, nail care artists, estheticians and their respective schools, and massage therapists.

"While these businesses are permitted to reopen, I want to urge business owners and the general public to use extreme caution if you chose to venture out based on these revised orders. Continue to shelter in place wherever possible. If you must go out, continue to use all the precautions recommended by the CDC- wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, use hand sanitizer if you are unable to wash your hands, and disinfect surfaces regularly. The overall health and safety of our community depends on it."

Stay safe everyone! - Mayor Cartwright
