: Face Mask Advisory
Mayor Bobby Cartwright has issued a declaration for all residents, business employees and patrons in the City encouraging the use of face coverings to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Effective at midnight on July 1, 2020, masks should be worn in all public spaces including but not limited to grocery stores, pharmacies, business locations, parking lots, sidewalks, and public transit. A mask or face covering shall be a fabric covering that covers the mouth and nose and is secured by ties or straps.
Exemptions may apply for religious beliefs, medical conditions, children under the age of 12, private individual offices, and when complying with law enforcement officers.
