City of Lovejoy's Mentoring Program

Hopeville Boys Center Mentoring program has partnered with the City of Lovejoy to host a five-month pilot-program in the City of Lovejoy to help mentor thirty (30) young men within the community. As we listen to the news and recent events across the country and in our community, there are countless cases concerning our young men. We are either losing them to crime, drugs, gang violence or other reasons that are statistically high.

The Program will address topics and the social ills that plague our young men such as bullying, gang involvement, social media, academics, and social skills. The program will also help our young men to give back to their community by doing community projects. Meetings will be held at the Lovejoy Community Center.
