Papa in Army Uniform

Rev. Doug Johnson Sr.,
Branch of Service: Army

'My grandfather, who lives in Lovejoy, served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a medic. He is currently the lead pastor at Heatherwood Baptist Church in Riverdale, GA. He has always been a great man of faith and would do anything to help anyone in need. He is one of the most generous and kind people I know. I'm very lucky to have him as my grandfather.

Thanks for the opportunity to honor his service!' - Avery Johnson

Johnnie Busch Sr.
Branch of Service: Army
Born December 19, 1947

"He is totally blind from the tragedies of the Vietnam War. He is always in good spirits and never lets his disability get him down. He is an inspiration to many and continues to uplift others all around him. He volunteers frequently at the VA Medical center and keeps a busy schedule from week to week. He is a South Carolina native and now resides in Atlanta. His favorite saying is "Too Blessed to be Stressed." For a man with no sight, he has so much vision."
