Note: Absentee ballot applications will continue to be accepted and processed by Clayton & Henry County Elections even if the application is signed on May 19th. Once county elections officials properly verify the signature on the application the voter will be sent an absentee ballot for the Primary Election now being held on June 9, 2020.
The 2020 Presidential Preference Primary/General Primary/Nonpartisan/Special Election is June 9, 2020. The deadline to register to vote is May 11, 2020. Early and advance voting will be from May 18, 2020 to June 5, 2020.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus and to avoid long lines, voters are encouraged to vote absentee by mail.
